Friends of the Tanner House is proud to announce the addition of two new members to our Board of Directors: Aaron Lewis & Debora Reaves Charmelus. Aaron Lewis

Aaron is a Managing Director and oversees Development, Finance and Operations at Full Court Development, a fully integrated Real Estate Development firm established in 2017. He oversees all operations for acquisitions, development, financing, sales and leasing. Previously, Aaron worked as a Project Manager at AECOM based in SF and was a Policy Advisor at the NYC Economic Development Corporation where he started in 2012. He is a recipient of the New City Urban Fellows program and an International Honors Program Scholar. He currently lives in Philadelphia, PA and frequently volunteers with the City’s Mural Arts Program.

Debora Reaves Charmelus

Debora Reaves Charmelus is a Haitian-American cultural strategist and community engagement designer in Philadelphia who helps organizations move from performative outreach to authentic partnership. She engages communities and uses her experience across cultural production, facilitation, journalism, and organizational leadership to build programming that impacts. With over a decade of experience spanning event production, digital strategy, retreat curation, content creation, and executive leadership, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to every project—understanding that authentic community engagement requires expertise across culture, strategy, and storytelling. She founded Kontan Studio (kontan: Haitian Creole for "content, happy") and CADO Marketplace, and her work has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Technical.ly, CBS News, and WHYY.
